The pendant is sculpted from the Tagua Palm nutshell. It is inscribed on the obverse with the maker’s name – Margarita. The rich golden brown tones of the shell are augmented by use of Bronzite beads, in roughly symmetrical shapes. Golden glass doughnut from Mali, faceted Apache Gold Pyrite / Steatite from Arizona, and glass spacer beads from Czechoslovakia continue the color scheme with the addition of various harmonious textures.
